The <strong>Surtax<\/strong> field is only used if the provincial tax is calculated on top of the federal tax (a rare situation). Normally, this field is not used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong> to save your changes, then click <strong>Stop<\/strong> to close the window. Please <a href=\"https:\/\/dimensionspf.com\/en\/contactez-nous\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">contact us<\/a> by phone or online so we can perform the repair.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Runtime Error 13<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are using our software (<strong>Dimensions Estimator<\/strong>) on a Canadian version of Windows computer, please follow these instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes Windows 10 installs <strong>English (USA)<\/strong> regional settings instead of <strong>English (Canada)<\/strong> by default. If this setting is not corrected, Dimensions Estimator may generate an error when creating quotations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To resolve this issue:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once the Windows update is complete, open the <strong>Start Menu<\/strong> and then <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to <strong>Time &amp; Language<\/strong>, then select <strong>Region &amp; Language<\/strong> from the left menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the right panel, click <strong>English (Canada)<\/strong>. Additional options will appear. Click <strong>Set as Default<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The error should no longer appear after these changes.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Runtime Error 48<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This error occurs when a DLL or OCX file is missing or was not installed correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can first try the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Right-click the <strong>Dimensions Estimator<\/strong> icon and select <strong>Run as Administrator<\/strong> (this only needs to be done once).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accept the Windows User Account Control prompt by clicking <strong>Yes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If all goes well, the issue should be resolved. If not, the software may need to be reinstalled. Contact us if you require assistance.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Runtime Error 53 (File Not Found)<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A file is missing or no longer exists. Most of the time, this is caused by antivirus software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We can restore the missing file, but if the antivirus is the cause, you will need to add an exclusion to allow the repair to remain effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Recommendation:<\/strong> Ask your IT support team to add the folder: <code>C:\\EstimateurNDCD<\/code> to your antivirus exclusion list. If you are comfortable with computers, you may do this yourself. Once completed, <a href=\"https:\/\/dimensionspf.com\/en\/contactez-nous\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"161\">contact us<\/a> so we can repair any missing or damaged files.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Runtime Error 70<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This error means that the quotation you are trying to open is already open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Possible Solutions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If your software installations are connected together, check with other users to see if someone already has this quotation open. If so, ask them to close it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may have another instance of <strong>Dimensions Estimator<\/strong> open. Close it and try again.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The software may have crashed while this quotation was open. The file may need to be repaired or forcefully closed. In this case, please <a href=\"https:\/\/dimensionspf.com\/en\/contactez-nous\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">contact us by phone<\/a> for assistance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Runtime Error 91<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This error mainly affects network installations. It simply means that the network drive hosting the databases is unavailable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately, Dimensions Portes et Fen\u00eatres cannot assist with this issue. You will need to contact your IT support provider to restore access. This is not a software error but rather an infrastructure issue.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Runtime Error 94 (Invalid us of null)<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are two primary causes for this error:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Language compatibility issue:<\/strong> Windows must be configured to use either <strong>French (Canada)<\/strong> or <strong>English (Canada)<\/strong> as the default language. If &#8220;(Canada)&#8221; does not appear next to the language name, the software may crash. This must be corrected by your IT department or by yourself.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Database issue:<\/strong> We may be able to repair the database files. However, it is possible that the damaged quotation can only be viewed and printed, not modified. Contact us for assistance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Runtime Error 339 (Component &#8220;.OCX&#8221; is not correctly registered or missing)<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A required file is either missing or improperly installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please contact us to have this issue corrected.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Runtime Error 384<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You have likely maximized the software window to full-screen mode and then closed it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately, the software does not support permanent full-screen mode. Resize the window to a smaller size and manually enlarge it using the window corners instead.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Runtime Error 420 \/ Runtime Error 440<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This error is caused by antivirus software blocking the application. Ask your IT support team to add the following folder to the antivirus exclusion list:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><code>C:\\EstimateurNDCD<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are comfortable with computers, you can do this yourself. If the issue persists afterward, contact us so we can repair any missing or damaged files.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Runtime Error 3021<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a synchronization error within the quotation file that makes the quotation unusable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two scenarios are possible:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. You Cannot Open the Quotation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this case, you can either recreate the quotation (if possible) or contact our technical support team by phone so we can repair the issue remotely (approximately 15 minutes of work).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. You Can Open the Quotation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You most likely have windows configured within your quotation file. Two methods can help resolve the issue:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the <strong>3D Module<\/strong> and then exit it while saving changes. Try printing again.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If that does not work, return to the <strong>3D Module<\/strong>, remove your assemblies, recreate them, and try printing again.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of these methods should resolve the issue. Otherwise, please <a href=\"https:\/\/dimensionspf.com\/en\/contactez-nous\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">contact us by phone<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Runtime Error 3024<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A source file is missing. We need to repair and restore the database files. Please <a href=\"https:\/\/dimensionspf.com\/en\/contactez-nous\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">contact us<\/a> by phone or online for assistance.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Runtime Error 3051<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Access permission issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The software must be installed using <strong>Administrator<\/strong> privileges. Your IT support provider must also ensure that you have sufficient rights to install software. Please contact your IT department to resolve this issue.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Runtime Error 3341<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The quotation file is corrupted and must be repaired. We should be able to recover the damaged file.
